Painted en plein air in August on a hillside near Roseburg, Oregon by Sarah Burns. The Oregon White Oak - Quercus Garryana dots hills and valleys throughout Oregon and Northern California. The native oak is host to many native species, from insects to mammals. 

Painting: Oil and Gesso on Wood - 10" x 7.5"
Framed painting measures 11” H x 8.5” W

This original landscape oil painting was created on a braced birch panel with linen and traditional glue and marble dust gesso.

Custom framed with slim beech frame made by fine furniture maker Jens Sehm.
